Outcomes of the summit will be shared on the MDBA website.

Meanwhile, Federal MP Anne Webster says there’s been an embarrassing back-down by the Federal Government after Water Minister Tanya Plibersek reinstated funding for 58 gigalitres of Victorian Murray Darling Basin Plan projects.

The member for Mallee believes the Federal Government may have with-held funding because Victoria had refused to join other states in signing up to the Basin Plan, but the state is still not budging on opposing water buybacks.
