A man who has admitted to assaulting two family members during a fight has told a court it was due to a change in medication.
The 45-year-old from Mildura pleaded guilty to unlawful assault following the incident in September this year at his mother’s house.
The Herald Sun says the Magistrate rejected the defence of medication change, saying it was alcohol that altered the judgement.

He’ll return to court at a later date but will be assessed for a corrections order.
