A data summary of wind erosion in the Mallee is now online.
Agriculture Victoria has put the information online ahead of a webinar later this month, looking at the current wind erosion survey results and the seasonal outlook.
The department says erosion directly impacts the viability of land by exposing plant roots or burying plants, or blowing them out of the ground.

The department says the importance of the five-year study in the state’s hottest and driest region shouldn’t be understated.
