After more than three years leading Lower Murray Water (LMW), Managing Director Paul Northey has announced his resignation.
The LMW Chair, Sharyon Peart acknowledged Mr Northey’s significant leadership contribution to our region’s water services throughout his tenure.
“Paul has been a wonderful leader over his period with us. He has led the implementation of our new billing and customer relationship management system, strengthened our community partnerships, ensured high-quality water service provision and that our community members were treated as his number one priority.”

Mr Northey has been appointed to an Executive General Manager role with Melbourne Water.
Paul’s final day with LMW will be 2 October 2026.
