The Australian Transport Safety Bureau is investigating a runway incursion at Mildura Aerodrome.
The authority says it happened on Tuesday June 6, when a Bombardier destined for Sydney started its take off from runway 9.
Shortly after that the crew of a Piper on its way to Broken Hill started its take off from runway 36.

The crew from each plane will be interviewed as part of the investigation.
