Power still out in Robinvale

A severe weather warning for the Mallee has been cancelled.

But power was out in Robinvale yesterday afternoon, among the half a million properties without power in Victoria.

More than 170 customers in the Happy Valley and Robinvale area still are without power.

Mildura MP Jade Benham says Charlton was also hit by storms that crossed the state, but SES and CFA volunteers were making sure people kept safe.

Mildura officially received just over three mills of rain during yesterday’s storm event.

Meantime, Gol Gol firefighters have been called out during the night to power lines down across the Silver City highway at Buronga.
