Many people in the community say they are confused about how to navigate the Aged Care system, so Mildura Rural City Council is set to run an aged care forum later this month.
The free forum is to run on Tuesday 30 April from 10:00am to 2:00pm, Powerhouse Place, Hugh King Drive, Mildura.
Industry professionals will present about topics including:
How to access the Aged Care System
What is My Aged Care and how to register?
How do I know if I am eligible?
What is the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP)?
Home Care Packages
Who can support me on my Aged Care journey?
How to access Residential Care
Morning tea and a light lunch will be provided.
