Mildura Airport will be holding their biennial Full Field Emergency Exercise soon, but there’s no need to be alarmed.
The planned emergency training exercise will involve local emergency services, airport personnel and volunteers, and is designed to test and strengthen the emergency response procedures in a realistic scenario.
The event is to be held Thursday October 1st, 6:30pm to 8:30pm at The Mildura Airport.
What to expect:
Increased emergency services vehicles around the airport.
Lights and sirens as part of the simulated emergency response.
Emergency personnel and volunteers taking part in the exercise.
Please remember: This is only an exercise and there is no cause for concern.
Normal airport operations will continue as scheduled.
