Murray Mallee police have detected several drivers committing traffic offences in the region over the weekend, including the following in the Riverland.
About 9.50pm on Friday 27 February, Police stopped a car on Hughes Street, Berri. Police checks revealed the driver was unlicenced. A 40-year-old woman from Berri was reported and her car impounded. She will be summonsed to appear in the Berri Magistrates Court at a later date.
Between Friday 27 February and Monday 2 March, six drivers were caught driving with drugs in their system. All have been issued with three-month instant loss of licences and may be charged with drug driving following results of a forensic analysis.
