Mildura Rural City Council is encouraging the community to get involved in a community tree planting day to help revitalise the Ouyen Landfill.
The day will be held 10:00am to 12:00pm, Thursday 21 August 2025 at the Ouyen Landfill (Dunkley Road, Ouyen).
Light refreshments will be provided.

There will also be an education stall to learn about waste services, recycling and waste minimisation.
Attendees are asked to wear enclosed shoes, long pants, long sleeve shirt and a hat.
Access to the planting area involves walking on uneven ground and a short uphill section.
