Balranald Shire Council says they are getting reports of a scam doing the rounds in the area.
There is a message circulating advising drivers over 60 that they would face night driving curfews between 10:00pm and 5:00am and some residents are getting text messages advising them to purchase a sticker to put on their vehicle.
Council is advising residents that these stories are UNTRUE and to NOT click on any links to purchase any stickers.

They say that if residents are unsure, please talk to a friend or family member, but please DO NOT click on any links.
