An undeground cable is being blamed for the issue in the Irymple area, while customers in Cardross, Koorlong and Mildura were also impacted.
Powercor says Sunday afternoon’s outage was rectified within two hours, but dozens of people had power back late Sunday night.
Meanwhile, Victoria’s Opposition wants a parliamentary inquiry into the reliability of the state’s energy transmission.
Parts of Robinvale and Happy Valley were left without power following last week’s storms that hit Victoria.
At one stage up to half a million homes and businesses were without power across the state.
However the Victorian Government’s labelled the opposition’s call a stunt, saying Energy Safe Victoria will investigate the collapse of transmission towers north of Geelong.
