Broken Hill City Council have announced a new community festival to be held in October.
Beyond the Dust Festival will be held Saturday October 17, 5:30pm to 9:30pm in Argent Street, Broken Hill.
Council says it will be a chance to step beyond the dust and into a world of colour, culture and celebration.
Beyond the Dust is being marketed as a dynamic street festival that transforms the heart of the outback into a vibrant family-friendly spectacle, with an eclectic mix of multicultural cuisine, live music, interactive art installations, market stalls, camel rides and extended retail trading.
Council says the festival will breathe new life into the streets, creating a dynamic space and unique experiences that bring people together.
Beyond the Dust is to be free for everyone to enjoy, including the live music and public art installations.
Food vendors, market stalls, and participating retailers will be open throughout the event, with cash and card payment options available.
