Mildura Rural City Council has announced a Mildura Emergency Services Day at Nowingi Place next week.
The day is to be held next Thursday, 5 June 2025, 9.30am to 2.30pm.
This free event will feature representatives from local emergency services organisations.
Agencies in attendance and activities on the day will include:
• Victoria Police and NSW Police
• Fire Rescue Victoria
• Country Fire Authority
• Rural Fire Services
• Northern Mallee Local Learning and Employment Network
• Ambulance Victoria
• Emergency Recovery Victoria
• Victoria State Emergency Services
• Australian Red Cross
• Mildura Life Saving Club
• Community RoadSafe Mildura
• Mildura Rural City Council
There will be a jaws of life demonstration from 10.30am and 1:00pm, a chance to take part in a ninja course and also to learn more about how drones are utilised by local services.
The Mildura Emergency Services Day is being delivered thanks to funding from Emergency Recovery Victoria to build a better prepared and more resilient community, while providing career guidance and volunteer information.
