As the warmer months fast approach our region, so does the Fire Danger Period.

Property owners are responsible for keeping their property from becoming overgrown or unsightly.

It’s important everyone plays a part in reducing the risk of a fire or hazard, and now is the perfect time to start preparing.

Maintaining overgrown grass, removing rubbish, unused machinery or materials ensures any danger to health or property is minimised.

Our officers are now inspecting properties across the region.

Penalty notices can be issued to property owners for unsightly land.
