The fire danger period will come to an end north of the Murray this weekend.
The NSW Rural Fire Service has announced the period will finish for the season in Wentworth and Balranald Council areas late Sunday night, meaning from Monday fires can be lit in the open-air, but locals will need to follow guidelines.
Meantime fire restrictions will also end on April 1 for the Mildura and Swan Hill municipalities, and the CFA’s also reminding residents Councils may have municipal laws in place.
