Wentworth Shire Council has advised river users that bridge lift times at Wentworth Bridge and Abbotsford Bridge will be reduced on Christmas Day.
On Christmas Day, bridge lifts will operate only at 9.30am and 5:00pm. There will be no bridge lifts at 11.30am or 2.30pm on Christmas Day.
This change has been authorised by Transport for NSW following a request from Regional Power Services.

Council also notes that a minimum of four hours’ notice is required for all bridge lift bookings.
