April 30, 2024 12:02 pm in by

Budget airline Bonza, which flies into and out of Mildura, has cancelled flights right across the country as it considers the “viability” of their business.

In a statement from the company just after 8:00 this morning it says services would be “temporarily suspended”.

The airline has recently been scaling back operations and reports have also emerged this morning that planes had been repossessed by creditors.

Bonza’s financial position has been subject to speculation ever since its launch last year.

The company has apologised to customers, saying Bonza was trying to find a way to keep flying.

Mildura Airport released a statement this morning saying “Attention all passengers travelling to and from Mildura this upcoming week.”

“The morning, we received notification from Bonza Airlines operations team that they have cancelled all flights to and from Mildura for the week ahead.”

“We understand the inconvenience this may cause and want to assure that we’re actively working on keeping you updated on any developments regarding Bonza.”
