Police have arrested a woman wanted for five thefts that occurred in the Mildura area over the last week.
It’s alleged the woman, who recently arrived from Melbourne, went on a shopping spree stealing over $2500 worth of alcohol, groceries, and clothes.
In the most recent incident, at a Deakin Avenue bottle shop, it’s alleged the woman assaulted a staff member that tried to stop her.

Police found her at a local address yesterday morning (Monday 20 April) and arrested her without incident.
The 42-year-old Mildura woman has been remanded by police to face the Mildura Magistrates Court at a later date.
