Wentworth Shire Council has advised Buronga residents of an upcoming scheduled filtered water shutdown in Buronga.
This interruption is necessary to allow our crews to safely perform essential water mains maintenance, which involves replacing a hydrant head at the end of the line near 4 Hendy Road.
Affected Properties: 2, 4, 6-10, 12, 14 and 18 Hendy Road, Buronga.
Properties at the listed addresses will experience a temporary disruption to their filtered water supply from 9:00pm to midnight this Thursday night.
Council recommends that affected residents store adequate water for drinking, cooking, and basic hygiene needs prior to 9:00 pm on Thursday 21 May and refrain from using washing machines or dishwashers during the specified timeframe.
Council says when the water supply is reinstated, it is normal to experience a small amount of air in the lines or slight water discolouration.
