Residents in Sunraysia and the Mallee are being urged to take a stand against cancer by participating in the annual Brave Shave campaign.
The campaign encourages locals to shave, cut or colour their hair in honour of those impacted by cancer and raise vital funds for the Australian Cancer Research Foundation.
Since 1984, the foundation has invested more than $204 million in 90 grants across 44 separate research institutions.

Australian Cancer Research Foundation spokesperson, Carly Du Toit, says it’s a fun way to show solidarity and raise funds for a worthy cause.
