Worker reunited with paramedics and workmates

A Wentworth Shire Council worker has been reunited with paramedics and workmates who saved his life when he suffered a cardiac arrest.

Jag collapsed at work earlier this year, with two colleagues using CPR and a defibrillator until paramedics arrived.

He needed six shocks from the defibrillator before being taken to hospital.

This week he’s been able to thank those who helped him.

Ambulance Victoria says it also shows a shock from a defibrillator can help increase a person’s chance of survival.

They say anyone can save a life in three simple steps: Call (call Triple Zero 000), Push (perform CPR) and Shock (use an AED).
