Construction of the Red Cliffs Early Years Hub notched up another stage last week, with the concrete slab poured.
The massive, single pour included approximately 318 cubic metres of concrete over a 1000 square meter area, the full resources of Mawsons Concrete Plant for one day, five Mildura concrete trucks, two additional trucks from Robinvale and two additional trucks from Swan Hill, and approximately 14 concreters on site starting at 5:00am and finishing around 6:00pm
Works are expected to progress quickly over the coming months, with steel and timber framework to go up in the coming weeks.
Completion of the Hub remains on-track for December 2024, in time for the 2025 school year.
