Union members have blocked the entrance to a Woolworth’s warehouse in Melbourne, making it harder for stock to get on shelves in areas including Mildura.
The supermarket giant claimed it had convinced enough workers to come back to the distribution centre to get essential products out, but the union thwarted the plan.
More than 15-hundred staff have walked off the job in three states including Victoria.
Distribution staff walked off the job 12-days ago with the United Workers Union’s demanding at least $38 an hour for warehouse workers, along with better conditions.
Woolworths has two sites in Mildura.
