A woman has been arrested for drug trafficking following a traffic stop at Berri.
About 2.45am on Thursday 22 August, police stopped a Nissan station wagon on Gordon Road, Gurra Gurra and directed the driver to submit to a roadside drug test.
Police will allege that she failed to comply with an oral fluid analysis.
Police conducted a search of her car and located 56grams of a crystalline substance suspected of being methamphetamine.
A 34-year-old woman from Berri was charged with failing to allow a sample of oral fluid to be taken, trafficking in a controlled drug and hindering police.
Her car was impounded for 28 days and she was issued with a licence disqualified for six months.
She was refused police bail and appeared in the Berri Magistrates Court.
She will reappear again later this week.
