Mildura rural City Council has announced the eight Mildura streets selected to undergo a transformation as part of the 2026 Cool It Street Program.
Council says the program helps create healthier and greener neighbourhoods by planting trees in areas of need.
Selected streets this around are Twelfth Street, Sharland Street, Campbell Grove, McKendrick Avenue, Richardson Street, Floral Avenue East/West, Brown Street and Kelvin Avenue.

MRCC says if you live on one of the selected streets above, they’ll contact you over the coming weeks to organise plantings, which are scheduled to begin from mid-May 2026.
