Australian Vintage has asked for trading in its shares to be suspended.

The company asked the stock exchange to suspend shares earlier this week, after merger talks with Accolade Wines reportedly broke down with Accolade saying it wasn’t in a position to continue the discussions.

Australian Vintage, which owns Buronga Hill Winery, is expecting to have its net debt by the end of June to be up to 75-MILLION dollars.
