Wentworth’s $30 million new hospital has reached a significant construction milestone.
NSW MP Helen Dalton says the new Wentworth Health Service is being built adjacent to the existing 80-year-old facility and includes 19 inpatient unit beds, an Urgent Care Centre and Community Health Services.
The concrete slab was completed in August.
The Member for Murray said “We are one step closer to a new health service, which will enhance healthcare for the Wentworth community and increase capacity to better meet its current and future health needs.”
The NSW MP added “The new facility has been designed in collaboration with staff and the local community to create a welcoming and supportive environment for patients, visitors and staff.”
