Wentworth Shire Council has opened applications for the 2026/2027 Green Waste Disposal Vouchers to assist residents with property maintenance and waste management.
The initiative provides residential households within the Wentworth Shire the opportunity to dispose of up to a trailer load of domestic green waste at no cost at the Buronga, Dareton and Wentworth waste facilities.
Property owners and tenants can complete the eligibility form on the Council website.
Each eligible residential household can receive up to TWO (2) Green Waste Disposal Vouchers.
Applicants should allow up to five business days for eligibility to be assessed.
Voucher Terms and Conditions:
• Eligibility: Available to residential properties only.
• Redemption: Vouchers can be redeemed by the property owner or tenant only. They are not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
• Tracking: Use of vouchers will be recorded under the registered property address in Council’s waste management system.
• Replacements: Lost, stolen, misplaced or unused vouchers cannot be replaced.
• Expiry: Vouchers must be redeemed by close of business, Wednesday 30 June 2027.

• Dareton Transfer Station
• Wentworth Transfer Station
