Wentworth Shire has celebrated and conferred four new Australian Citizens at Council Chambers
On Wednesday Mrs Klinruk Robertson (of Thailand origin), Mr Balraj Singh Brar, Mrs Amandeep Kaur Sandhu and Jasnoor Singh Brar (all of Indian origin) were granted their Australian Citizenship status in the formal ceremony.
To mark the special occasion, the four conferees were gifted with Australian native plants by Wentworth Shire Council and a 2023 Citizenship Commemorative Coin.
“To welcome these four individuals in Wentworth Shire as Australian Citizens is a great honour. On behalf of Wentworth Shire, we wish them well in their future endeavours. Congratulations on this special occasion,” Wentworth Shire Council Mayor Tim Elstone said.
