Wentworth Shire Council Mayor, Cr Daniel Linklater has paid tribute to Cr Stephen Heywood, who passed away on Wednesday morning.
The Wentworth Mayor said “Steve was a strong and passionate advocate for all rural issues but always based his decision-making on what was best for Wentworth Shire.”
Mayor Linklater says Cr Heywood will be remembered as a gentleman, and deeply missed by his all who knew him.

Cr Stephen Heywood is survived by wife Andria and their children.
