Wentworth Shire Council has advised residents of Wentworth that filtered water supply will be unavailable for an 8-hour period due to essential critical works at the Wentworth Water Treatment Plant, 10.30pm, Wednesday 21 May to 6.30am, Thursday 22 May.
Residents are encouraged to plan ahead by avoiding water usage (such as showers or washing) during this time and preparing alternative water sources, such as buckets of water for toilet flushing.
Please note, raw water supply will not be affected.
