Nine people have been caught driving under the influence in the Murraylands area over the weekend including:
On Sunday 21 July about 12.55am, police stopped a 50-year-old man from Tanunda driving on Paringa Street at Renmark.
He underwent a breath test and returned a positive reading of 0.120.
He was reported for drink-driving, he received a six-month immediate loss of licence notice, had his car impounded for 28 days and will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
Also, between Friday 19 July and Monday 22 July, Murray Mallee Police have reported five people on separate occasions who were allegedly driving with illicit substances in their system.
All five people received a three-month immediate loss of licence notice and may be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
