Federal Labor’s proposed amendments to the Murray Darling Basin Plan will be discussed in Mildura today.
Federal Member for Mallee Anne Webster MP says a town hall meeting this afternoon from 4:00 at the Alfred Deakin Centre is hoping to hear from locals about the impacts of water buybacks in the past, and any risks if they resume.
It’s part of a week-long tour of the Murray Darling Basin by Members and Senators, including Shadow Water Minister Perin Davey.
