Detectives from the Fugitive Squad are appealing for public assistance to help locate Bradley Johnson.
A warrant has been issued for the arrest of the 43-year-old after he was unlawfully released from custody at the Ravenhall Correctional Centre on Monday, 8 April, 2024.
He was being held on remand after being charged with sexual assault offences.
Johnson was last seen leaving the Ravenhall facility and walking towards a bus stop just before 4.30pm on Monday 8 April, 2024.
His current whereabouts are unknown and police are keen to speak to anyone who may have sighted him or knows of his current location.
Johnson is known to frequent the Mildura area and regularly catches public transport.
He is described as being 175cm tall with a medium build, closely shaved dark hair and an olive complexion. He also has a scar through the middle of his right eyebrow.
He was last seen wearing grey pants, a dark top and dark runners.
Investigators have released images of Johnson in the hope someone may be able to provide information on his current whereabouts.
Police are also appealing for Johnson to come forward himself and contact police.
Anyone who sights Johnson is asked not to approach him and to contact triple zero (000) immediately.
