Voluntary Assisted Dying Laws pass the Lower House

Reforms to Victoria’s Voluntary Assisted Dying Laws have passed the Lower House.

It allows doctors to openly discuss end of life measures with terminally ill patients.

Five Government MPs crossed the floor to vote against the reforms, while five Coalition MPs crossed to vote in favour, including member for Mildura Jade Benham.

The bill is yet to be debated in the upper house.
