Victoria’s 2022 floods have been left off a natural disaster declaration, which will see Victorian emergency responders miss out on a national medal.
Mildura was one of the areas flooded in late 2022, with the clean-up in and around the Murray River lasting months.
The Federal Government declared flooding in New South Wales and Queensland during the same time a NATURAL DISASTER, but failed to recognise the devastation in Victoria.
