Elecnor Australia has announced upcoming scheduled maintenance activities as part of the EnergyConnect project.

They say the work is essential to connecting the electrical grids of New South Wales, South Australia, and Victoria to improve national energy reliability.

Work is scheduled to occur between Friday 10 April and Saturday 18 April 2026.

While standard construction hours are typically restricted, this activity will operate under extended “Out of Hours” timing to complete the work safely, Monday to Sunday, 7:00am – 7:00pm (including Public Holidays).

Motorists using the Sturt Highway and Arumpo Road should prepare for traffic control measures and potential delays of up to 15 minutes.

Residents may notice elevated work platforms (up to 70 metres), heavy trucks, and light vehicles in the area.
