Underbool will get more than a million dollars in state funding towards an upgrade of their local swimming pool.
Council called earlier this year for the state to add to the council’s funding promise for the upgrade.
Mildura mayor Helen Healy says it’s an essential upgrade for the town.

The Underbool and District Community Plan 2023-28 had identified the swimming-pool revamp as a key project for the local area.
The average use of a pool in a standard Victorian town is 4.4 times per year, but at Underbool the figure sits at 14.4 times.
