A local group has received ten-thousand dollars to help save the habitats of the Mallee Emu-Wren and other threatened birds.
The Threatened Species Conservancy will also deliver interactive community sessions, as part of the Federal Government’s Strengthening Rural Communities Program.
More than nine-thousand three-hundred dollars has also been announced for the Swan Hill Riding for the Disabled Association to upgrade their fencing next to the highway.
