A Walpeup woman’s pleaded NOT guilty to murder over the September 2020 death of her husband at their home.
However REBECCA PAYNE’s pleaded guilty to manslaughter on the first day of her Supreme Court Trial in Mildura, with her defence lawyer telling the court his client didn’t intend to kill her husband.
The court was told the 50-year-old drugged her husband, wrapped him in a blanket and put in a freezer at the back of their home.
