Swan Hill Police have taken to social media to highlight some recent Highway Patrol intercepts.
At approximately 9:00pm on the 24th of September, Swan Hill Highway Patrol intercepted a vehicle on Naretha Street, Swan Hill.
The driver was the holder of a suspended driver licence and returned a positive oral fluid sample (drug test).
As a result, his vehicle was impounded for 30 days at a cost of $1525, and he will receive a summons to attend court at a later date.
Yesterday, Monday the 5th of October, whilst patrolling school zones during the peak drop off period, Swan Hill Highway Patrol intercepted a vehicle on Chapman Street, Swan Hill.
The driver, who had a cancelled driver licence, had her vehicle impounded for 30 days at a cost of $1525, and she will be summonsed to court at a later date.
