Trap round-up coming to an end

There is still time to get involved in the Yabby Trap Round-Up.

The Yabby Trap Round-Up is collecting all old and unwanted opera house yabby traps, and swapping them for an Oar-Gee Plow lure.

The traps collected will be recycled into useful products for fishers, with the proceeds being used to support habitat restoration.

Your local Trap Drop Spot is the Buronga Landfill, 258 Arumpo Road, Buronga.

Open weekdays from 8am-4.45pm and weekends from 9am-4.45pm.

The Yabby Trap Round-Up program is an initiative of TierraMar in collaboration with OzFish Unlimited and the NSW DPI.

Initiative ends Thursday 29 February 2024.

*Limit of one Oar-Gee Plow lure per person. A limited number of lures are available.
