Residents of Balranald and Euston are being invited to take part in a survey and discuss the future of transport in their area.
Transport for NSW Regional Director West Alistair Lunn says the survey would help to plan, prioritise and trial potential transport services for the region.
“We are very keen to gain an understanding of how to tailor services that best suit the needs of those living in the region.
“This engagement is focusing on a potential connection to Mildura as this was a strong theme we heard from community at our transport forum held in Balranald in 2023.”
Residents in the Balranald LGA can take part in the survey from 29 April to 12 May online by visiting https://www.haveyoursay.nsw.gov.au/balranald-transport
A hard copy of the survey will be available at the sessions listed below and the Balranald Shire Council office.
The Transport for NSW team will be in Balranald today at the Balranald Theatre Royal from 9am-11am and Balranald Club from 4pm-6pm.
They will also be in Euston tomorrow, Wednesday 1 May, with sessions at the Euston Post Office from 11am-1pm and at the Euston Club Resort from 11am-1pm and then 4pm-6pm.
