Traffic offences detected in the Riverland

Riverland Police caught several drivers doing the wrong thing on the weekend including:

On Friday, Berri Police reported a 36-year-old man from Monash. It will be alleged that he was stopped driving a vehicle on Vaughan Terrace, Berri. Checks on his licence reveal that he is currently unlicensed. His vehicle was impounded for 28 days and he will be summoned to appear in court at a later date.

On Friday Murray Mallee Highway patrol reported a 24-year-old Berri man after he tested positive to drugs while driving on Derrick Street, Berri. He was issued with a three-month instant loss of licence and may be summoned to appear in Berri Magistrates Court pending forensic analysis.

On Sunday 4 August, Murray Mallee Highway patrol reported a 51-year-old Loveday man after he tested positive to drugs while driving a vehicle on Cooper Street, Berri. He was issued with a three-month instant loss of licence and may be summoned to appear in Berri Magistrates Court pending forensic analysis.
