Local tiny towns are being encouraged to apply for Victorian funding to boost aspects including tourism and community pride.
Applications open today for the Tiny Towns Fund, with grants of between five and fifty-thousand dollars open for towns with up to five-thousand people.
The funds are aimed at projects boosting community pride, tourism and liveability.
The State Government says the first round’s already supported more than two-hundred projects including the restoration of the Carwarp Hall and an activation project for Swan Hill Rural City Council.
Applications close October 25.
