Mildura Rural City Council are asking for feedback on three upcoming projects.
Council’s five-year Tourism Strategy will consolidate and align Council’s tourism efforts across departments, develop a five-year action plan to guide events, tourism and visitor servicing for the region and establish clear, measurable goals and priorities to enhance tourism across the region.
Council also needs feedback to enhance, and help finalise, the design of the new Jaycee Park Adventure Playspace.
The project aims to deliver a regional level playspace that offers varied play and recreational opportunities for a broad range of ages, abilities and cultural backgrounds.
Council has an identified budget to go towards this project, with external funds required to deliver the project in full.
Once consultation is complete, and a full Concept and Costings Plan endorsed, they’ll then work to secure the funding required to deliver the Playspace to its full potential.
And the Draft Domestic Animal Management Plan 2026-2029 is now available for public feedback.
The Plan outlines strategies for managing cats and dogs in the community, while aiming to promote responsible pet ownership, ensure public safety and address issues such as overpopulation, animal attacks and nuisance animals.
The four-year Plan is a statutory requirement under the Domestic Animals Act 1994.
