The new Wentworth Shire Council three-bin kerbside collection service begins next week.
Council say if you’ve received your new bins, take a look under the lid of your general waste bin.
Your collection calendar and information pack may already be attached to the bin, and many bins are also receiving a red sticker to help guide the transition to the new service.
If your collection calendar, magnet or information pack is not attached to your bin, information packs are continuing to be distributed during this week’s collections and digital copies of collection calendars, magnets and information sheets are available online.
Collection calendars can be downloaded for all collection areas, along with frequently asked questions and information about how the new service works.
Please note:
Red stickers are currently being applied to existing Council-allocated dark-green lidded bins.
Other bins not supplied or identified by Council and Cleanaway will not be collected from 30 September 2026 as part of the transition to the new service.
From 5 October 2026, only bins identified by Council and Cleanaway will be collected.
