A pair has been arrested after allegedly attempting to steal alcohol from a Monash business premises Monday afternoon.
Just after 5.30pm on Monday 11 September, Berri patrols were called to a restaurant on Sturt Highway after reports people were attempting to steal alcohol from inside.
The witness confronted the suspects who ran to a car parked nearby.
The couple attempted to leave the area however crashed into a skip bin parked nearby.
Police were quickly on scene and arrested the pair a short time later.
A 45-year-old woman from Cobdogla and a 33-year-old man from Barmera were charged with theft and property damage.
They were granted police bail and will appear in Berri Magistrates Court on 24 October.
