A passenger train will return to Mildura over coming days, but it’s for a rare occasion.
The Vinelander will be returning to Sunraysia as the first standard gauge passenger train, on a six-day Slow Rail Journey.
The loco will be taking off tomorrow from Melbourne, going through areas of Victoria before heading to Mildura and Yelta.

Many locals have long been calling for the return of a V/Line passenger train to Mildura.
